Being an artist is my purpose, although, it truly has been a journey to make this discovery. I have been creating my whole life and I love the creative process. I have always been particularly drawn to things old and discarded. For me, these things are full of potential and I love transforming them in my art with a sense of humor and spirituality. Each piece, no matter how old or used, has a story to tell, like each of us. With Funky Faith Studio, my hope is to renew these pieces through my art and allow them to continue on with a new purpose touching people and lifting the spirits of their new owners and those around them. Over the last several years, I have made my art a focus in my life again which led to the creation of Funky Faith Studio.  With the support of my family and friends, I am continuing my journey as an artist, a path I now believe I was born to follow. I studied interior design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.  After graduating and working in the interior design industry, I realized it was not the direction in which I wanted to continue.  Instead, I started a small business, met my husband and had a daughter.  I put my art aside while I focused on motherhood and today; I have been married to my husband, Martin, for 17 years and we live with our 14-year-old daughter, Olivia, on Long Island.
